Fundraising

There are lots of things you can do to support Vennture. One of them is setting up a fundraising event or campaign. If you are thinking about doing so please let us know so we can help you and provide materials to make it easier for you. We are grateful for every support given.

Quiz & Chips

By popular request after successful quizzes in previous years, Hampton Park Church held another Quiz ‘n Chips Fundraiser on Saturday 1st July.  The quizmaster and organiser was Martyn Davies. He did an excellent job, as on previous occasions, with rounds covering a wide spectrum of subjects. A choice of Traditional fish and chips or home-made vegetable curry with chips were available to eat during the interval.
We are thankful to Hampton Park Church for raising £450 for Hereford Street Pastors and for their continuous support.

Bake sale

In April some of our students who volunteer in our Lean-on-Me project, where we supervise recovery in the night time economy, ran a bake sale at Hereford Sixth Form College in support of Vennture. They sold some great cakes, raised money and had lots of people interested in what we do! Students are a really important part of our volunteer base here at Vennture, especially with Lean-on-Me and it was great to see how many of the Sixth Form College students took away leaflets to find out more on how to get involved!

Spinathon

On the 27th of January Full Cycle studio Joe’s Spin Session organised a 24 hours Spinathon in aid of Hereford Street Pastors. Street Pastors, friends and family had to keep the bike spinning for the entire 24 hours. Everyone could book one or several slots of 1 hour. They started on Friday 9am and made it all the way through the night. An amazing £2,338.58 was raised. Well done Street Pastors!
