These roles provide warden cover for the hotel, overnight from Monday to Friday and cover at weekends, ensuring guests are safeguarded and the terms of the stay is adhered to. You will be a welcoming presence, ensuring all guests are kept safe and the building is secure, respected and a safe place.
There may be some responsibility for managing bookings and room allocations whilst on duty, along with general cleaning and health and safety duties as they arise as well as dealing with any emergencies that may occur.

  • You are self-motivated and can manage your time effectively; prioritising different areas of work according to needs and deadlines.

  • You are practical and hard-working
  • You are happy to work nights and be alert at all times and be available for vital support and assistance

  • Workers with a zero hours contract are entitled to the statutory annual leave allowance. The pay that you receive for each hour worked will contain an additional payment for deferred holiday pay of 12.07%. which is pro rata to the statutory entitlement of 20 days annual leave and 8 public holidays
  • Necessary training will be provided in the Induction period

  • You will automatically be enrolled into Vennture’s workplace pension NEST if you meet the qualifying conditions
