Following an independent investigation into allegations of bullying, the Trustees of Vennture have dismissed Rob Thomas, Chief Executive Officer, from his role and as a Director of Vennture Enterprises, with immediate effect.

Chair of Trustees, Paul Ballard, said:

“The investigation found behaviour that fell below the standards we expect within our charity. As Trustees, we have a responsibility to act when those standards are not met.

“We are grateful to those who came forward during the investigation, and we apologise unreservedly to the individual affected for the harm caused.

“Our priority now is to ensure that our workplace reflects the standards we expect of everyone involved in the charity.”

The former CEO has the right to appeal the decision.
