🌟 Volunteer Week at Vennture: Celebrating Our Community Heroes! 🌟
From June 3rd to June 9th, we’re spotlighting our incredible volunteers who make a difference every day. Without their unwavering support, Vennture couldn’t ignite positive change in our community. Let’s take a moment to appreciate their dedication and impact:

• Street Pastors, our longest-running volunteers within Vennture, Patrol the streets of Herefordshire in the night-time economy on a Friday and/or Saturday night. Working closely with West Mercia Police, independent businesses and security staff to provide safety and reassurance to those who need it.
• Lean on Me Volunteers: These compassionate individuals are a vital part of enabling Vennture to ‘Love People Better’. Proving a safe space for supervised recovery, a listening ear, or ensuring safety, they go above and beyond to assist the Street Pastor in making sure people ‘Have a good time an come home safe’
• Ambassadors: Our Ambassadors assist during the day on Hereford’s streets, aiding those who are lost, unwell, or in need of a little support. With welcoming smiles, our volunteers contribute to the city’s inviting atmosphere and supporting the independent businesses, making it a more enjoyable place for all.
• Twilight Ambassadors are teams of trained volunteers who will patrol the streets of Hereford City on Saturday evenings from 7 pm to 11 pm, providing a reassuring presence. They will coordinate with the Vennture Street Pastors to ensure a continuous presence throughout the night.
• Ross on Wye Ambassadors: Working closely with our Hereford Street Team, the ambassadors patrol Ross Streets. Being a welcoming presence, aiding those in need who are lost, unwell or in need of a little support or signposting from 9pm-1am.
